This is a &#8220;player-coach&#8221; role: while you will have the support of a bookkeeper, you are expected to be deeply involved in the daily financial operations, system optimization, and data integrity. You will be the primary driver of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Master QuickBooks Online:<\/strong> Act as the internal expert for <strong>QuickBooks Online<\/strong>, ensuring all transactions are categorized correctly and the system is utilized to its full potential for accuracy and scalability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Proactive Cash Flow Management:<\/strong> Take full ownership of cash flow, aggressively maintaining low A\/R levels and ensuring timely collections to fuel business growth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Systems &amp; Process Engineering:<\/strong> Evaluate and &#8220;roll up your sleeves&#8221; to improve financial systems and internal controls, ensuring our processes are efficient, GAAP-compliant, and audit-ready.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Data &amp; Power BI Integration:<\/strong> Partner closely with the Reporting Manager to ensure financial data integrates seamlessly into <strong>Power BI<\/strong>. You will actively engage with dashboards to monitor performance and verify data integrity.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Budgeting &amp; Forecasting:<\/strong> Lead the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, translating operational data into actionable financial roadmaps.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Strategic Advisory:<\/strong> Provide the executive team with high-level financial insights, leveraging data to inform long-term business planning and sustainable growth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Mentorship:<\/strong> Manage and mentor our staff bookkeeper, providing clear direction and fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>7+ years of experience<\/strong> in accounting or financial management, with a proven track record of managing &#8220;the books&#8221; while contributing to &#8220;the big picture.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>B2B Expertise:<\/strong> Extensive experience in a B2B environment, specifically working with <strong>physical products<\/strong> and inventory-heavy operations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>QuickBooks Power User:<\/strong> Advanced proficiency in <strong>QuickBooks Online<\/strong> is required; you should be comfortable navigating every corner of the platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Technical Literacy:<\/strong> Ability to work fluently within <strong>Power BI<\/strong> for data analysis and performance tracking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Educational Background:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
