Our client is highly regarded global asset manager. They seek a Director and/or Senior Associate/VP to own complex transactions and healthcare investments end-to-end, while supporting platform-level capital raising. The role blends deal leadership with hands-on in‑country execution in a lean, founder‑style team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of 2+ complex healthcare transactions per year across emerging markets.
- Negotiate terms, structure deals, and oversee legal frameworks and shareholder agreements across jurisdictions.
- Build and manage detailed financial models; drive transaction documentation and due diligence.
- Coordinate diverse stakeholders, including local partners, authorities, brands and advisors.
- Support platform-level capital raising and onboarding of new investors.
- Spend extended periods in-country to manage partners, government processes and implementation.
- Operate without dedicated analyst support, handling modelling through to negotiations.
- Manage multiple live deals in parallel within a lean, entrepreneurial team.
- Contribute beyond deal work, e.g. business planning, systems selection and interim CFO support.
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years in a blue‑chip investment bank; healthcare coverage advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership of complex M&A from origination to close.
- Advanced financial modelling, deal structuring and shareholder agreement expertise.
- Proven project management of multi‑jurisdiction transactions with exacting attention to detail.
- Experience within healthcare operators or strategic/M&A roles is a plus.
- Capital raising experience at platform or corporate level desirable.
- For the Senior Associate/VP-level they will also consider hiring from Consultancy, where the candidate has some prior experience in valuations/modelling.
- Entrepreneurial, hands‑on mindset with resilience in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
