Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service and proactive on-site communication
  • Provide accurate and real-time reporting of work performed at equipment level
  • Monitor equipment safety and performance
  • Identify site risks, communicate them to supervisors, and take immediate action in high-risk scenarios
  • Detect unplanned service needs and address them promptly

Service Operations

  • Ensure end-user and site safety during maintenance operations
  • Follow safe working practices according to maintenance and safety instructions
  • Execute service visits, preventive maintenance, call-outs, and repairs according to schedule and quality standards
  • Report all completed work accurately and on time
  • Maintain service tools, vans, and instruments in good condition
  • Keep supervisors updated on relevant operational information
  • Support sales by notifying supervisors of potential service opportunities

Qualifications & Requirements

  • ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience with a reputable elevator company
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Basic IT and digital skills are preferred
  • Valid GCC driving license is an advantage
